Wyoming pulls away from DePaul for 72-58 win

LAS VEGAS -- Hayden Dalton scored 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead Wyoming to a 72-58 win over DePaul in Thursday night's Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic.

Justin James added 13 points and Alan Herndon got 10 for Wyoming (10-2), which had 22 turnovers but controlled the boards 49-39. Dalton, who has had a double-double in three straight games, was 4 of 7 from the field and 9 for 10 from the line.

Wyoming took the lead for good during a 16-3 run in the second half capped with Alexander Aka Gorski's layup to make it 45-38 with 10:14 left. The go-ahead run was sparked with a 3-point play from Herndon, who followed it up with a dunk.

Tre'Darius McCallum led DePaul (7-5) with 18 points and Billy Garrett Jr. had 17 points.

Wyoming will play the winner of the Missouri State and No. 23 USC matchup in Friday's final round of the tournament.
