Stolen SUV used to break into Mercedes lot on Goose Island
Chicago police are investigating a break-in Sunday night at a Mercedes storage lot on Goose Island.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are investigating a break-in Sunday night at a Mercedes storage lot on Goose Island.

A stolen Ford Expedition SUV was used to ram through a security fence at the Fletcher Jones Dealership storage lot at about 11:45 p.m. in the 1100-block of North Cherry Avenue, police said.

It is not known if any cars were stolen from the lot. Security was checking the other dealership property when the break-in occurred.

Surveillance cameras at the lot may have captured the incident on video. Police are investigating. No one is in custody.
