1 killed in Hillside crash near Mannheim Road

CHICAGO (WLS) -- One person died in a single-vehicle crash on the eastbound feeder ramp from I-88 to I-290 west of Mannheim Road in west suburban Hillside overnight.

Illinois State Police said the rollover crash occurred around 11:20 p.m. Tuesday. The car caught fire.

Crews closed access to inbound I-290 from I-88, I-294 and Roosevelt Road to clean up the scene. IDOT re-opened access around 4 a.m. Wednesday.
