7-mile stretch of U.S. 421 reopens in Ind. after fatal, head-on crash

LAPORTE, Ind. (WLS) -- U.S. 421 reopened to traffic after a fatal crash closed seven miles of the highway between I-94 and State Road 2, which is just north of the Indiana Toll Road in Indiana.

The crash happened in LaPorte County north of Snyder Road Tuesday around 7:27 a.m. The area was closed for the clean-up and investigation until just before 11 a.m.

There's no information on the victim or victims yet.
