HUNTLEY, Ill. (WLS) -- All lanes of I-90 near Huntley have reopened in both directions after a truck caught fire in the westbound lanes.

The fire began in the westbound lanes and went off the road and into the grass. It is not clear how the fire started and there was no crash, Illinois State Police said.

I-90 was closed in both directions during the Friday evening rush, backing westbound traffic up for miles from Route 47 to Randall Road.

There were no reports of any injuries.
