Inbound Kennedy lanes reopen after earlier semi accident

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Inbound lanes of the Kennedy Expressway have reopened at Addison after an earlier accident.

Lanes shut down at Addision earlier Monday morning after a semi overturned, according to Illinois Department of Transportation officials. There were reports of at least one injury.

IDOT officials say the overturned semi took out light poles. State police are directing traffic off and then back onto the Kennedy after Addison.
