Rollover semi blocks all lanes of NB SR 49 at I-94 in NW Indiana

CHESTERTON, Ind. (WLS) -- An overturned semi is blocking all lanes of northbound State Road 49 at I-94 in northwest Indiana.

There is a two-mile backup on eastbound I-94 near Chesterton, Ind. Traffic is not allowed to exit to northbound SR 49.

Crews are working to upright the semi. It is unclear how long the lanes will be closed.
