INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WLS) -- Indiana highway officials are trying a new tactic in fighting this winter's snow by adding new double-tow plows.

Highway officials say in addition to their larger capacity to clear snow, the tow plows use less fuel and less man power than two separate plow trucks.

Indiana has six of the new plows to be used on multi-lane interstates, state roads and highways.
