CHICAGO (WLS) -- Hundreds of tornadoes have hit the Chicago area in the past century or so, including some of historic proportions. DuPage and Will counties take the brunt, while Chicago's core has gotten off easy. Here's a look at some of those storms - plus ways you can protect yourself if you're in a tornado's path.
