High waves produce flooding along lakefront
Gusty winds whipped up waves along the Chicago lakefront on Tuesday, creating minor flooding.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Strong winds are driving waves up over the lakefront path in Chicago, shutting down portions of the lakefront path Tuesday night.

The lakefront path is closed from Ohio to Oak, and along the section near the Chess Pavilion. No one is allowed on the path in those areas.

Earlier on Tuesday, some bicyclists got a little close to the action along Lake Shore Drive - which is not advised.
