Lake County tornado 911 calls released

ROUND LAKE, Ill. (WLS) -- ABC7 has obtained 911 calls that were made as a tornado touched down near Round Lake on Sunday.

"There's a tornado on the ground, a tornado on the ground alert NOAA, the power is now out," a caller said.

The National Weather Service said an EF-1 tornado with winds as high as 100 miles per hour caused damage in several Lake County communities.

No injuries were reported in the storm Sunday night.

Earlier in the day, a storm collapsed a tent in Wood Dale that killed a man.
