CHICAGO (WLS) -- Sixteen taxi cabs were targeted by vandals in the city's Rogers Park neighborhood over a four-day period, police said.

Authorities report that between Nov. 27 and Nov. 30, an unknown offender or offenders broke passenger-side windows on 16 cabs parked on the street.

Property was removed from inside some of the affected vehicles, police said.

Police said the incidents usually happened overnight and took place throughout the neighborhood.
