Woman stabbed to death in Englewood, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A woman was found stabbed to death early Saturday morning on Chicago's South Side, police said.

Chicago police said they found a woman in her late 30's stabbed in the chest multiple times at around 4:24 a.m. She was pronounced dead at the scene in the 7000-block of South Emerald Ave.

Police have not released any more information about the victim. No suspects are in custody.

Area South detectives are investigating.
