100 Club of Chicago honored by FBI

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The 100 Club of Chicago is being honored by the FBI.

The club provides financial help for families of police officers, firefighters and paramedics killed in the line of duty.

It was given the director's community leadership award from the FBI. It was presented to Joe Ahern, the CEO of the 100 Club, at a ceremony in Chicago. In almost 50 years of service the 100 Club has provided aid to 256 families.
