CHICAGO (WLS) -- The FBI is asking for the public's help to identify the man who robbed a credit union on Chicago's Far North Side.

Officials released surveillance photos of the suspect overnight.

Investigators said he walked into the First Financial Credit Union in the 2900-block of West Peterson Avenue around 2 p.m. Thursday, flashed a gun and took off with some cash.

No one was hurt during the robbery.

The FBI said the suspect is described as an African American man in his 30's with scruffy facial hair. He is between 6 ft. and 6 ft. 4 in. tall and weighs between 220 and 250 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a blue and white striped shirt and khakis.
