Bogan HS football player's funeral to be held Saturday

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A funeral will be held Saturday for a Chicago high school football player who died after a game.

Andre Smith played for Bogan High School on Chicago's Far South Side. He died after taking a hit to the head during last Thursday's game.

The wake will be held at Living Word Christian Center in Forest Park, located at 7600 West Roosevelt Road, at 10:15 a.m. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m.
