CTA proposes Western Ave express bus

CHICAGO (WLS) -- An express bus route may be coming back to Western Avenue.

The CTA would like to cut some of the low usage stops on the number 49 bus. The CTA predicts an express route would save commuters about seven and a half minutes per ride. They hope to have the changes made by the end of the year.
