Shots fired into van on inbound Dan Ryan at 18th, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are investigating after shots were fired into a vehicle along the inbound Dan Ryan, officials said.

A gray van was traveling inbound near 18th Street around 4 a.m. Sunday when someone shot at the vehicle multiple times, police said. The van was carrying three passengers at the time; police say only one person suffered minor injuries.

Two inbound right lanes near 18th were closed early Sunday for police investigation, though they have since re-opened.
