CHICAGO -- Retired U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Travis Mills is one of only five servicemen from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to survive his injuries as a quadruple amputee.

Travis doesn't like being called a "wounded warrior" - he prefers "recalibrated warrior." The motto he lives by is, "Never give up. Never quit."

In his new book, "Tough as They Come," Travis tells his story, from making the decision to go into the Army after High School, to meeting his wife - to the fateful day, four days before his 25th birthday, when he put down his backpack and his world exploded - to his recovery.

He visits WCL to talk about what drives him to succeed and keep going in the face of adversity.
