Lightning may have caused a three-alarm fire at a home on Silver Glen Road in north suburban McHenry.
A home in northwest suburban Barrington was damaged by a lightning strike Wednesday night.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Thunderstorms raced through the Chicago area Wednesday night. Lightning from those storms may have caused damage across the suburbs.
