Police warn of burglaries in Austin

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are warning residents of the city's Austin neighborhood about a series of burglaries in the area.

The most recent burglary was reported Monday in the 500-block of North Lockwood. In each case, police say the suspects allegedly broke into the victim's home through the back door or window and then stole property. In one case, three men were seen loading items into a truck.

Incidents were reported at the following locations:

5200-block of West Ohio on Nov. 10 between 3-9 p.m.

5300-block of West Ohio on Nov. 21 between 10:45-11 a.m.

600-block of West Laramie on Nov. 16 at 6 p.m.

500-block of North Lockwood on Nov. 23 between 12:30-4:30 p.m.
