Sandburg HS student had sex with 14-year-old in classroom, police say

ORLAND PARK, Ill. (WLS) -- A suburban high school football player is charged after police say he had sex with a 14-year-old girl in an empty classroom at Sandburg High School in Orland Park.

Marcus Payton, 18, is facing misdemeanor sex abuse charges.

Police said the sex was consensual, but the girl's parents wanted to pursue charges.
