CHICAGO (WLS) -- It's that time of year again, and holiday shopping is in full swing! But staying energized can be a challenge when you're running around trying to find the perfect gifts. Health and Fitness expert Stephanie Mansour, from Step It Up with Steph, visited ABC7 to share a few tips and gift ideas to make shopping a little easier.
For starters, make a list of who you are shopping for and the ideas you have for them; this will save you time and energy. Also, load up on healthy protein and vegetables before heading out to give you the necessary fuel for a long shopping day. Opt for healthy snacks. In line at the check-out counter? Grab a chocolate bar that has Nuts in it for protein. At Starbucks? Grab a Peanut Butter Cup or Kind Bar.
