Man found stabbed to death in North Austin

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found stabbed to death in Chicago's North Austin neighborhood.

Police received a call about an unresponsive man in 1700-block of North Luna Avenue around 5:40 a.m. Wednesday.

Officers said he was stabbed several times and was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim has not not been identified.

Area North detectives are investigating.
