Snowy conditions cause multiple spin-outs, crashes in west Michigan

KENT COUNTY, Mich. (WLS) -- As many as 80 vehicles were involved in multiple crashes and spin-outs Friday afternoon on snowy roads outside Grand Rapids, Mich.

Whiteout conditions were reported at the time in the area along Route 131, which is located in northern Kent County.

Injuries appeared to be minor.
