Daily Herald: Highland Park native competes in national grocery bagging competition

HIGHLAND PARK, Ill. (WLS) -- Jorge Mejia of Highland Park will be representing the suburbs when he competes in a national grocery bagging competition in Las Vegas in February.

Mejia, a native of Colombia who moved to the United States about five years ago, works at Sunset Foods in Lake Forest. He won the Illinois competition this fall and now heads to the nationals, where the winner gets $10,000.
