CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Salvation Army put up signs around the city Tuesday in an effort to do a better job of reaching people in need.

The goal is to let people know that the Salvation Army can help people struggling with things such as hunger, homelessness and human trafficking.

The signs are going up in spots where they're most likely to be seen by those who need help.
