Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and if you're recovering from a late night of New Year's Eve partying, you want to make sure you eat early.
Jon Soble, director of catering at Max and Benny's Restaurant, visited ABC7's studios to give a few ideas for a great New Year's breakfast.

Gourmet Omelette
Ingredients:
3 Eggs
1/8 cup Sun-Dried Tomatoes
1/8 cup Finely Chopped Portabella Mushrooms
2 slices of Fontana Cheese
1 Teaspoon Butter
Preparation:
Scramble the eggs in a bowl, add the sun-dried tomatoes and portabella mushrooms to the bowl and mix all together.
Melt the butter in a frying pan and pour in the egg mixture.
When eggs are firm enough, flip over to cook other side.
When eggs are almost done, add the cheese on top, cover pan and turn off heat and wait 30 seconds.
Serve
Egg White Turkey Sausage Omelette
Ingredients:
4 Egg Whites
2 Links of Turkey Sausage Cooked and Cut up into inch pieces
1/8 cup chopped Peppers
1/8 cup chopped Green Onions
2 Slices Sharp Cheddar Cheese or any cheese that you desire
1 Teaspoon Butter or Cooking Spray
Preparation:
Scramble the egg whites in a bowl, add the turkey sausage, peppers and green onions and mix together.
Melt the butter or use the cooking spray in a frying pan and pour in the egg mixture.
When eggs are firm enough, flip over to cook other side.
When eggs are almost done, add the cheese on top, cover pan and turn off heat and wait 30 seconds.
Serve
Benny's Bloody Mary
Ingredients:
1 oz Vodka (any brand)
4 oz Bloody Mary Mix
Celery Salt
2 slices of Corned Beef
Salami Stick
1 Green Olive
1/8 Lime
Dill Pickle
1 Stalk Celery
Ice
Preparation:
Dip the rim of the glass in the celery salt, add ice to the top of the glass. Pour in vodka. Add Bloody Mary Mix. Put pickle and celery into glass. Put corned beef, salami stick, olive and lime on a skewer and add to drink.
