Report: Heather Mack's Bali prison sentence reduced

BALI (WLS) -- The Daily Mail reports that a Bali prison shaved one month off of Heather Mack's 10 year sentence under annual remissions granted over the holiday

Her boyfriend, Tommy Schaefer, who is also serving time for killing Mack's mother in August 2014, had one month taken off his sentence as well.

The Chicago-area couple is convicted of murdering Sheila Von-Wiese Mack at a Bali hotel and stuffing her body in a suitcase. They had a daughter, Stella, while on trial in Indonesia.
