Police search for suspect in Edgewater, University Village bank robberies

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The FBI is looking for a man suspected of robbing two banks in Chicago about an hour apart Tuesday.

The FBI has released surveillance pictures from the first reported robbery at the MB Financial bank branch on North Broadway in the city's Edgewater neighborhood Tuesday afternoon.

Investigators say the same man allegedly robbed a Chase bank on Taylor Street in University Village about an hour later.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call the FBI in Chicago.
