Blackhawks to be honored at White House

The Chicago Blackhawks will be honored Feb. 18 at the White House by President Barack Obama for their 2015 Stanley Cup championship.

The team defeating the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 6 of the NHL hockey Stanley Cup Final.

This visit will continue the tradition begun by President Obama of honoring sports teams for their efforts to give back to their communities.

On Thursday, ESPN reported that the 2017 NHL draft will be held in Chicago.
