Small plane skids off runway, overturns in Bolingbrook

BOLINGBROOK, Ill. (WLS) -- A small plane skidded off the runway and overturned at Clow International Airport in southwest suburban Bolingbrook Friday afternoon.

The pilot sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital, police said.

The plane was taxiing on the runway when the wind caught the plane and pulled it into the soft dirt, causing it to roll down the embankment and flipped.
