Woman sexually assaulted, left unconscious in Logan Square laundry room

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are searching for the person who sexually assaulted a 50-year-old woman and left her unconscious in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood.

Police said she was found with a swollen face in the laundry room of a building in the 2600-block of North Spaulding Avenue around 11:25 a.m. Monday.

She was transported to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where she is listed in serious condition.

Investigators said the victim may know the person or people who attacked her.
