Safely get rid of unwanted prescriotion drugs on National Drug Take-Back Day

CHICAGO (WLS) -- There is a nationwide option for people to safely get rid of old or unwanted prescription drugs Saturday on National Drug Take-Back Day.

There are dozens of locations around the Chicago area accepting drop offs.

According to the Drug Enforcement Agency, Americans turned I more than 700,000 lbs. of prescription drugs during take back events last year.
