CTA offering alerts for elevator outages, repairs

CHICAGO (WLS) -- People who use elevators at CTA stations can now get text and email alerts about outages and repairs.

Riders can get alerts for just one individual line or for the entire rail system.

The CTA operates 153 elevators at 88 rail stations.
