CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Northern Illinois University Board of Trustees voted to revoke disgraced U.S. House Speaker Dennis Hastert's honorary law degree.

The unanimous vote came after the Illinois Republican's guilty plea to charges he violated banking laws for hush-money paid to someone he allegedly sexually molested.

Hastert was presented with the honorary degree in 1999.

He must report to prison by June 22 for a 15-month sentence.
