Author brings acts of kindness to combat violence

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Best-selling author of the book "Talk to God" is now on a mission to fight terrorism around the world. DeiAmor Verus is launching his 1 Act of Kindness campaign around the country. Wearing a "1 Act of Kindness" wristband is a silent protest against terrorism and evil. The wristband is $2.00. All of the proceeds go to the International Red Cross/Red Crescent, who are on the front-lines helping people suffering from the horrors of terrorism. Verus joined ABC 7 to talk about the 1 Act of Kindness campaign and his latest book.
