Signing up for the TSA's PreCheck program is now cheaper for frequent fliers on certain airlines.

Southwest and JetBlue are letting loyal customers pay for the TSA PreCheck program with miles.

The normal cost is $85 to register. TSA PreCheck allows customers to speed through security without removing their shoes or liquids from their bags.

"What will happen is you'll be able to cash in 9,000 of your Rapid Rewards Points, depending on where you actually use those points towards a voucher for TSA Pre-Check," said Joe Mirander of Southwest Airlines.

The program is only being offered for a limited time.
