Thousands expected at Millennium Park Pokemon Go meetup Sunday

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Thousands of Pokemon Go players are expected at a meet-up in Millennium Park Sunday afternoon.

More than 11,000 people on Facebook have said they will meet at The Bean at 2 p.m.

State representative Kelly Cassidy hosted a meetup at the Pratt Beach Pier in Rogers Park for fans of all ages.

There were even prizes for the most creative Pokemon pictures. Cassidy said the game encourages people to explore their neighborhoods and meet new people.
