GRANT COUNTY, Wis. (WLS) -- A Chicago woman who went on a canoe trip in Wisconsin is still missing.
The unidentified 29-year-old disappeared early Wednesday after going into the Mississippi River at Wyalusung Beach near Prairie du Chien, Wis. That's two hours west of Madison.
Grant County Sheriff Nate Dreckman told WKOW she and her friends had finished their canoe trip and had set up camp to wait to be picked up. He said they were hanging out on the dock and decided to jump into the water.
Police haven't yet released her name. Divers went back into the water to continue their search Thursday.
