Chicago Bulls 2016-2017 schedule announced

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Chicago Bulls released their 2016-2017 schedule on Friday.

The Bulls will tip off the 51st season in team history on Oct. 27 at the United Center when they host the Boston Celtics at 7 p.m.

The team's first away game will be on Oct. 31 in Brooklyn against the Nets at the Barclays Center at 6:30 p.m.

Other major home games in the 2017-2017 season include: the NBA Champion Cleveland Cavaliers on Dec. 2 and March 30, the New York Knicks on Nov. 4, the San Antonio Spurs on Dec. 8, the Miami Heat on Dec. 10 and Jan. 27, the Minnesota Timberwolves on Dec. 13, the Toronto Raptors on Jan. 7 and Feb. 14, the Oklahoma City Thunder on Jan. 9, a second tilt with the Celtics on Feb. 16, the Golden State Warriors on March 2 and the Los Angeles Clippers on March 4.

For the seventh straight season, the Bulls will play on the holiday stage with a Christmas Day matinee at San Antonio.
