Metra Electric Line riders to experience delays

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A major repair project will bring delays for commuters on Metra's Electric Line.

Metra will replace ties and resurface tracks over a nearly 17-mile stretch between Kensington/115th Street and University Park.

The work will mean 10 minute delays for most trains and some altered schedules.

Those changes will be in effect until Oct. 1.
