Car shot at on Dan Ryan Expressway

CHICAGO -- A car was hit by gunfire on the Dan Ryan Expressway late Sunday night, according to Illinois State Police.

The car was shot in the northbound lanes near 33rd Street around 11 p.m., police said. No one inside the car was injured.

The express lanes were closed for several hours as troopers looked for evidence.
