CHICAGO (WLS) -- Normal service on the CTA Red Line has been restored after an unauthorized person on the tracks disrupted service Tuesday morning, the CTA said.

Red Line subway trains were being rerouted to the elevated lines between Fullerton and Cermak-Chinatown because of a person on the tracks near Monroe at about 6:30 a.m. Shortly after 7 a.m., CTA began to restore full service on the Red Line.
