3 men try to run after stolen car crashes in Ashburn, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Charges are pending against three men after a stolen car crashed into parked cars early Wednesday morning on Chicago's Southwest Side, police said.

The men jumped out of the stolen vehicle and tried to run after the crash occurred just after 1:45 a.m. in the 3700-block of West 77th Place in the city's Ashburn neighborhood.

But they didn't get very far. Officers caught up with them and they were taken into custody.

No one was hurt in the crash. Area Central detectives are investigating.
