Aurora woman who recently moved to Key West missing for 3 weeks

AURORA, Ill. (WLS) -- A family in west suburban Aurora is frantic for answers after their loved one disappeared in Key West, Fla.

Robin Ford was last seen by campers in Key West on Aug. 30. The Monroe County Sheriff said Key West police are investigating. Ford's family said her disappearance remains a mystery.

"It's very difficult to understand. She would not just disappear and if she did go off to the ocean, if-- somebody said maybe she drowned, there's no belongings. Her dingy, nothing has come out," said her sister Tamara Sanchez.

Ford had recently moved to that area with her four adult children.
