Woman groped while jogging in Albany Park, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Chicago Police Department issued a warning after a woman was sexually assaulted in Chicago's Albany Park neighborhood.

The attack happened Sunday morning around 7:15 a.m. The victim was jogging eastbound on Sunnyside Ave. approaching Kedzie Ave. when an unknown offender grabbed her, police said.

The offender fled on foot through an alley off of Kedzie Ave. He is described as being at least 6 feet tall with an athletic build, but police could not provide a more detailed description.

Area North detectives are investigating.
