Bolingbrook boy, 11, found after leaving note saying he ran away

BOLINGBROOK, Ill. (WLS) -- An 11-year-old boy missing from his Bolingbrook home has been found. Earlier on Tuesday, the boy was reported as missing after leaving a note stating he was running away, police said.

David Banda was last seen in the 300-block of Huntington Way in Bolingbrook at about 7 a.m. on Tuesday, police said.

Banda is Hispanic, 4'11," 85 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes and freckles on his face. Police said he may riding a blue mountain/touring style bike and is in possession of a brown blanket. He has no known medical issues.
