Attempted child luring reported in Bensenville

BENSENVILLE, Ill. (WLS) -- Bensenville police sent out a safety alert after a 9-year-old boy reported a man trying to lure him into a van Monday.

Police said the boy reported that a white man around 50 years old attempted to get him to enter a white cargo style van with red rims. The incident occurred in the 300-block of North Spruce around 3:30 p.m. Monday.
