Documents: Teen stabbed nearly 60 times; mom, little sister also found dead
TEXAS CITY, Texas -- The teenager who was found dead in Texas City was stabbed nearly 60 times, charging documents stated.
Murder charges sought against teen's boyfriend
On Tuesday, police filed charges against Jesse Dobbs, 21, for the murder of 16-year-old Kirsten Fritch. Fritch died as a result of sharp force trauma, according to the medical examiner.
In charging documents, Dobbs told detectives that he killed the "fake" Kirsten.
"Kirsten is dead, I killed her. Not the real Kirsten but the fake Kirsten," the document stated.
Last Friday, the medical examiner said there were multiple stab wounds on her body chest torso upper extremities and face. Investigators believe Dobbs fatally stabbed Fritch with a knife.

Dobbs was found by Texas City police at a bar called Shenanigan's in Texas City. He walked in barefoot, and asked for a glass of water. Dobbs' ex-girlfriend told Baytown police that she got a call on November 8 while he was at the bar, wanting her to pick him up. The documents also state that he wanted her to take him to Louisiana because "this will be the last time he sees his kids."
Police received a tip call that led to his arrest at the bar.
Across the street at an apartment complex, police also found the missing car that belonged to Kirsten's mother, Cynthia Morris. Morris and her 13-year-old daughter, Breanna, were found shot to death in their Baytown home the same day Dobbs was arrested in Texas City. Kirsten was missing.
Dobbs has two children from a previous relationship. He was charged earlier this year with domestic violence against the children's mother, who said he was known to use methamphetamine.
He remains in the Galveston County Jail on $500,000 bond.
